I bought mine at 7800 months ago, but I believe the price may reduce slightly now.Panasonic Viera TV Fan Club V.4, Plasma, LCD & LED models.

QUOTE(norazwan79 @ Oct 8 2013, 09:17 PM) Thanks for the info. Where did u bought? I bought for RM7700 3 weeks ago at CSH Butterworth. However, i am still waiting for replacement as mine had a burn in issue since it was "abused" before i got it. picture quality is excellent for 2D. As for 3D, it depends on source. Avatar 3D for example looks great. No complaints.2D quality excellent rite? how about 3D quality? happy with the tv? This post has been edited by pgcity: Oct 9 2013, 11:45 AM |

IMHO, 4k/8k will only bring impact if using 100" and above projector screen/panel screen. It still takes a while before 4k/8k movie content populate the market. So mean time, just enjoy 1080p.

Well, there is always a 2disc option. Like Lord of the ring extended edition, each movie come with 2 disc because long movie time and also multi audio content. Actually, TDK already have 100G blu ray R/RW many years ago. Just that it did not mass production due to manufacturing update and market demand.

Sometime people spend because is expensive to show status. Not about they can see the difference. Therefore the initial are for the people can spend, only the later wave for real consumer. Just my 2cents.

I agree with many folks here that the VT60 is not worth the additional RM7k (almost 2x) compared to ST60. I saw VT60 and ST60 and could not really tell the difference in2D, at least not enough to justify the difference in price.
Try to get the ST60, stocks are very low now, until end of this month when the next shipment arrives. |

The 4k TV is still actively debated as to whether it makes sense or not. At normal distances of 8 feet from the TV, I also doubt the 4k makes a difference at sizes 60" and below. The demos today for Samsung and Sony show the difference at 2 ft and less from the TV, but stand further away, and I started to notice more the contrast, and color, rather than the details.
I was using a 50" 720p TV for the past 6 years and never really felt the need to upgrade, unless if I sat very close to the TV which was never. Only recently I moved to 65" 1080p, and I see some improvement in detail, but not much as the size has also grown. |

Simple put it, if u r videophile who demand picture perfect with more calibration option to calibrate to more natural color with more color gradient, go for VT/ZT. Otherwise, just ST will do. I bet those set u compare in show room did not go through proper calibration to shiw its potential.Try to get the ST60, stocks are very low now, until end of this month when the next shipment arrives. |

Better buy that Panasonic plasma if you're on the fence ... It might not be around any longer next year.
