I followed GMG's instruction but all i get is "There is a problem".

What do you mean by region lock? in-game or your SE account?

1) In-game is not region lock, you can play in any servers from any region regardless of what FFXIV you purchase (NA/EU/JP)
2) SE accounts are region lock, what currency you will pay depends on what country/region you register on your SE account.

or do you mean GMG?

GMG identify our ip as Brunei and therefore will only issue FFXIV EU for us. You can try to use proxy to buy but it is NOT recommended as GMG has a very strict policy to it.

Is any1 experiencing constant lagging/dc in game? It's like everything pauses and you can still move, but it fast forward later on.

I'm using Unifi
