Meanwhile, I read somewhere that Legacy players will be able to transfer to the new servers but there will be restrictions either ability wise or Gil amount as it will heavily upset the market there if they choose to manipulate it. It's on the official website and someone linked it to me in this thread V8. Try searching for it.

Or they will provide patch for existing client.
It is a huge cost to send 8gb file again to hundred thousand of player.
