if everything done and still have problem..i guess last resort is copy ur game file to somewhere else, unistall ffxiv arr, reinstall launcher and try to launch agian..when patching, close it and copy back ur game file..

i would do that if i have the same prob..

i think corupted file, just make backup for ur game..tried redownload again..

make sure backup ur game file...if u able to launch the game and patching it, try to copy paste the backup file to save time..it might be just the launcher prob..

i mean copy ur game file (that 8GB+) to pendrive or something..unistall and reistall back ffxiv arr, try to see if the launcher is ok..if ok, proceed to patching and then stop the patch..copy back the 8GB+ gamefile to ur new ffxiv folder..this method might or might not work..but for the sake to cut the time down, no harm if u try

u have to start fresh i guess..install client and let client download the file..

do u have ur p4 installer? i think u can use that one..

if windows corrupt and ur using windows 7..try this

open cmd as admin and put this :
sfc /scannow

did u tried this cmd yet? sfc /scannow

it should scan and fix any windows related file..or u didnt let it run till end?
