same with me.. just start playing with controller and i think it was godsend.. very easy to use. everything at your fingertip. no need to overstretch your fingers to reach far buttons..

selecting mob is main problem. agree on that. maybe need to remap to other key.

i am using razer sabertooth. you guys?

xbox360. used roughly by me since drop unlimited times to the floor from table height and still strong.
not sure why, but xbox360 layout is more comfortable to me than ps3 controller, mayb due to the LS is afar from RS which juz comfy enough for my hand/finger//thumb

I tried controller during phase three only have targetting problems. If anyone has nice tips please share later.

Does anyone have any news/guide about linking PC and PS3 activations into one account? I have bought a physical PS3 CE (no codes yet) and digital PC (with code) versions.

know what?I found out that my mouse is faulty when playing ffxiv arr.left button sometimes not sensitive..i guess i have to send it for warranty claim >.<

controller prob on targetting i think can be solve by target filtering..didnt manage to try that yet..

For enabling crysta; I can just use back Malaysia's address right ?

Thinking of buying a controller...

Controller nice to play meh. I play with my PS3 got many limitations le..
Still is keyboard and mouse better!

for me xbox360 for pc due to no issue on compatibility with all pc games that support controller. not sure on ps3 to pc coz never try on it.

I tried ps3 controller (need some emu software for windows) in FF 1.0, havent try yet in ARR.

Logitech have a ps3 type controller.

What kind of problem? Please share.

need to use arrow keys to select mobs, or u need to face the mobs and then press A to select better, ur character needs to face that way. if ur character is facing the other way eventhough the screen facing the mob, it wont do

just a warning to the pc gamers out there [and to myself too] to take a break once in a while using the mouse

I think controller for PVE still ok la. But if go for PVP sure die faster.
With keyboard only 1 key to use skill but controller needs to hold R1/R2 with button key.

yeap. very comfy for me. not sure bout ps3, but on pc, you can hybrid with controller + mouse+kb
so far don't have limitation to me once you have bind all the necessary key nicely to the hotbar, and from there its all instant access.
accessing 16 hotbar on controller without changing the set is far more convenient for me than pressing number 1 to 0.
All in all, it downs to the player preference

choosing another monster. with mouse, you can juz navigate and click jer (100% accuracy), but on controller, need to use the left-pad to rotate the nearby monster (till it aim on the one you want, hence abit more time consuming.)

I know what it is, thats why I plan to use controller.

Well you can do a couple of hand/wrist exercise.

Hmmm, i dun think can use this to apply on this game. For controller user, pressing L2/R2 + button key is not a problem lol. how hard/long it gonna take to press these 2 button simultaneously. Yes, KB has the ease of just pressing once, but as said, down to the player preference and how they feel about it.
Surely, SQ won't make this game with this disadvantages where the world is cross by PS3 and PC user in mind

just warning to the gamers that doesnt know. dont want lowyat to loose gamers
