Edit..........after some research seems that you can reallocate stats using an item as stated by Yoshi but he also informed that you can't switch from Arcanist to Scholar immediately for some reason. Have to look into it further.

I don't think people should really panic about it. Eventually, you will play more than one job/class. Your choice of gear and other additional job skills would most likely trump those additions to stats. As long you are adding those stats and know what they do, your character will be just fine, no matter if you want to be a Scholar or a Summoner

I'll clarify it for you. Scholar and Summoner share the same base class which is arcanist. Hence both SCH and SMN share the same stat you allocate. However, SMN need INT, while SCH need MND. Therefore, Yoshi actually meant that if you had put all into INT, Summoner will benefit more if you use that job. You can still use SCH but with lower MND stat since no bonus stat was added. You can use a limited item to reallocate your stat, but keep on reallocate everytime you change between these 2 jobs is not recommended. That was what the producer/director of the game was trying to convey the message.

Personally I honestly think the stat sucks bad. 30MND probably increase your cure by 2? and 30INT probably 2damage? That's how i felt while playing beta. I kept pumping MND stats for my cnj and really notice no difference in cure amount. HOWEVER, if you change to a higher damage weapon, you see the result instantly with larger amount of cure. people in the beta forum was also discussing the uselessness of the bonus stat, it's as if it's only for show and "pretend" that players have control over their stat. What matter most is equipment.

Ahhh, thanks for the clarification, some suggested if you really want to switch in between the 2 jobs just allocated the stats into PIE while on arcanist, not sure how effective that will be though.

you saw that some ppl say allocate stats to PIE = increase mp pool, is because of the my previous post which I edit and added some insight on stats where people in beta was discussing.

It is the same as some advice tank should add vit. The reason was add MND to increase cure potency, or INT to increase spell damage, or STR to increase physical attack, etc etc, seems too small and can be ignored. whereas adding VIT or PIE, you can assure that you get a good amount of HP or MP pool increase.

whether you agree on these theory-crafting depends on your own opinion though lol.

ehh with vit i add almost get 4k hp! on my WAR xD

yes P4 is the final client, they already announce it a lot of time.

i mean, tomorrow will download a few more GB because we downloaded some of the file and not all... i dont think 7gb is the whoooolle game... or is it? GW2 even 20+ gb

so a friend of mine link me this awesome guide page.

i played as conjurer during the beta bui i have no idea CNJ can actually hybrid as Paladin as well, but i guess i'll go White Mage this time.

and according to the guide, im supposed to pick Mi'Qote Keeper because the MND is the highest? or it just doesnt affect that much if i picked up Hyur or anything else?

stats doesn't really matter in the end. forgore it.
