You cant easily understand the feel unless u tested or feel it by urself, but if u really need description, it feels like lubed lol  blush.gif

haha yeah man, thats what i thought

but then.. so far i havent met anyone who lubed their mech boards

in real life that is

it depends on what switch you use.
lubing mx black/red at least eliminate much of the scratchiness.

lubed mx blue click will become subtle.

most of the time lubed switch will reduce the noise.
quite a different from stock switch.

of course you can't feel it with just one demo switch.
you gotta test with whole keyboard which has fully tuned switches and compare it to stock
*
using browns atm, can sort of feel the keycaps like unlubed door hinge (okay that mighta sound exaggerated)

but yeah you get the idea

Usually in my case:
Friend: Is it expensive due to the LED? I thought a lot of below Rm 100 gaming keyboard LED out there?
Me: Nope, it's useless for me to explain to you. You won't understand.
Friend: Never understand you guys, spend money over this kind of hobby.
Me: I never understand you guys don't know what is mech kb.
*
i used to be that 'friend' until i did my research on mech keyboards

then i jumped ship biggrin.gif

How much ? I spent less than RM40 on leds. Bought from Taobao.
Tools from my dad's toolbox  laugh.gif  Soldering iron + solder. Sucker from hardware store. Around RM10 ?
*
Quite feasible, will attack my dad's toolbox as well

QUOTE(Human10 @ Aug 26 2013, 08:50 PM)
abang kai suggested that there are lots of works to be done, cause the led holes already being soldered (poker2 is so, so i assume oni the same), so need desolder first b4 can add led.

so, except you diy it, it may cost over rm50 for the workmanship along, led will cost around rm6 if you buy from taobao.
*
Hmm so i guess ill need to remove cover and check it out first before deciding

since you are going to get led from china, get some dummy boards or pcbs for training your solder skill.

We need to set an example that we only distribute and sell NEW products. Did you know that certain competitors in the past had accused of us selling used products?

GuyS ~! the up coming IT fair, will sell mechanical keyboard in cheaper price mah? ._.
non standard layout meaning?

hmm means backlit keyboard hard to find replacement keycaps?

btw what is the meaning of TKL ._.
*
TKL means Tenkeyless

TKL boards have 87 keys instead of the usual 104

easily identified with the lack of numpad keys
