anyone can explain how does pressing a well lubed keycaps feel? hmm.gif

EDIT: sorry, describe
*
it depends on what switch you use.
lubing mx black/red at least eliminate much of the scratchiness.

lubed mx blue click will become subtle.

most of the time lubed switch will reduce the noise.
quite a different from stock switch.

of course you can't feel it with just one demo switch.
you gotta test with whole keyboard which has fully tuned switches and compare it to stock

difflen...caps lock and 108 keys vs 104 keys haha

and the sad part about that cherry classic caps is that it doesn't have blue words  mad.gif

unless the translated "green" actually means blue in chinese?
*
in this case, nope.
green is green
blue is blue.
but you see from the picture blue color seems kinda bright,
in actual is different. more to dark blue.
my sales thread still have some picture of it. removed

a lot of mainland buyer buy from him since first batch.
1 day already finish stock

What special about custom keyboard? Thinking of skipping coming Ducky and Filco TKL and directly jump to custom keyboard too.
*
Not sure how to describe.
Different custom has different spec.

Lurk geekhack and keep looking at it maybe you will find the answer for urself ? laugh.gif

btw there is dangwang's blog http://dangwang.wordpress.com/

They look just as pretty even with beige/grey keycaps. biggrin.gif

it's shiny durability is better than thick PBT?
*

but if you use white/beige, the shining is not really obvious compared to black.
it is just personal preference btw, not sure how to say but I like the surface.
sendiri cuba then tau laugh.gif

Yuck.
My friend's rosewill W and E suddenly died.
I thought is switch problem.
When I try to desolder, the whole copper pad plate just came off together with solder! Which means the pad is already loosen in the first place. shocking.gif
It happens the same when I try to desolder another.
The quality is surprising!
Fixed it in hard way...scratch the circuit for copper and soldered to connect it with switch pin shakehead.gif

Why need weeks to exchange. If bought from any of our dealers just send to them they check no liquid spillage, no abuse, no physical damage you can just request on the spot exchange. Now do some trick pcb damaged already.

There is one more that came in abused like heck all kinds of cigarette dust, burnt mark. Warranty was rejected but in the end we replaced it on the house by swapping out all the keypads.

Mind you our sales for the keyboard is in the hundreds and it is very popular thanks to the support of the community. But if the community expect a RM200+ board to be flawless and not have any RMA that's juts not very possible.

There is a brand that has less than 1% rma and that is Topre.
*
Already sent. There is no stock for RK9000BL to be exchanged by that time.
So have to wait.

I told my friend I could fix it instead, so don't need to wait long. smile.gif

I never expect a brand to be perfect anyway. Just hope other RK9000 users won't face this problem.

due to their own unwise move to tamper the board, when actually should go warranty, shouldnt blame the board, blame the brain
*
My statement is just a notice to all only.
I am not discouraging people buy your selling product.

Furthermore, distributor doesn't have MX Black which the faulty board happened to be black switch.
Reseller offers 1-1 exchange but MX Black is not available. But Blue/Brown is plenty a lot.
Distributor should bring MX Black as well instead of back order and takes time.

Send to warranty and wait for N weeks to get replacement is not feasible when I can just fix it in few minutes.
Not to mention that my friend is relying his keyboard heavily for work.

Copper pads (4 of them) loosen suddenly, if not the QC problem then what is it?

*Again, I am not expecting all board to be perfect. People can just take it as notice.

guys usually for lubrication on the stabilizers what kind of lubrication product u guys use? if can stated that are available in general store or just hardware shop..

Last time i bought super lube in ace hardware.
Last one, then never restock doh.gif

If you can find krytox 103/5 plus 205 mix them together also ok,
That is more expensive solution.
