put the lights on ... walk away from the rear ... admire the lights ... justify the 200 spent ... go back to the bike ... cycle away

Totalduh asked me about installing FD on the Eco C7. This is how it looks like.

This is how the adapter looks like. You have to mount the adapter as far up as possible as there a frame brace obstructing it. The braze on FD also need to b mounted as far up as possible. The cable routing is also possible with the adapter. The pictures above are old pictures and I have alsready added in the granny chainring onto the crank. So it's a triple chain ring now but the adjustments are a bit tricky. PM me if you need further enquiries.

Thanks for the pics bro. Amazed that the adaptor can still be mounted with the limited amt of room available below the curved area. What's the max chain ring size you are using? smile.gif

It's a 52/42/30 chainrings that all three of my bikes are using. The adapter is mounted right at the maximum height that is possible and the FD can just move pass the largest chainring. If you use mountain bike cranks, there's more than enough space for it. MTB cranks sized 48T(largest) chainring can be found but the normal ones are 44T. If you are not particular in pedalling downhill, MTB cranks gives you more lower gears! rclxms.gif

No, the sale is over.

I did buy a long awaited item, the Topeak Road Morph G. Great pump, works just like a larger floor pump but is portable. Its longer so you can get the air in faster. The pressure reading gauge is helpful too.

Hi guys,

I am quite new to folding bike bicycle, and already do some survey for the price of folding bike.

More or less is the same as the list suggested here

LOUIS GARNEAU LGS Pop from 950-1050
Dr. Hon VYBE C7S from 950-980
Dahon ECO from 750-850
Raleigh UGO from 750-850

But, i have a confusion. In which I should go for this new bicycle which is suit for my budget, or i should wait for a nice deal of a used bicycle from doppelganger, dahon and etc?

Thanks a lot
