The suggested and retail price is RM2399 and with that Rodalink gives automatic membership which allows 5% discount and also on all future buying from them. The biggest dealer would be Sew Leong in Dengkil and maybe Frankie there can give you a special price. There's no stock at Kimbell Jaya but if you are willing to put down a small token deposit and wait, Jimmy the owner can also give you a better price too. Visit the shop and talk to them.

edge 500 is the one then, 800 is over budget .

I am looking for a foldie Dahon around <2k. thinking of Speed P8. but there is only 1 Dahon retailer in Penang and they quote me RM1950.

Hi there! Yeah have already started to call around. Hope that the one in Bangsar has the full range. I hear that the Taman Botanik outlet is well stocked but it's so far away...

That must be Chin Aik! There are 2 version in Klang Valley. The older version is a much better spec-ed version. This one comes with WTB rims, Avid brake levers and Kinetix brakes , seat post with a pump and Schwalbe Big Apple tyres. The new version does not have all those! The price in KL is around RM1780. Probably that's why Penangkia don't ride Dahon or Tern much. HArd to source them. I am driving to KL tomorrow just to buy a mini velo from Thomas of mini velo bikes. I can do that I am sure you can visit Klang valley to buy one. Hehehe

This is a long shot question but does anyone know of any electric bicycle gurus? I have a Hachiko 20" electric folding bike and when I throttle, the whirring is getting pretty loud. I don't dare open the rear hub myself to clean it so if possible,i would leave the servicing to someone who knows that they are doing.

Any leads would be appreciated, thanks!

I am looking at Performer from Taiwan. Sold only in Penang. Probably will look at other velos also. Maybe a Barnnard. I already have an Ultegra groupset and will fix it on the velo and the Shimano 24 speed Altus groupset will be taken out. Anyone interested in a 24 speed components. I can mod it on the foldie PM me if you are interested.

haha...yes3...that uncle..forgot to ask for his name. chit chat a bit with him, then he reduced 50bucks..LOL..I bought P8 today..yeha..now panjat Batu Ferengghi..haha

Should be around RM1800 for the lowest spec 24 speed and flat bar. But there are many other velos there, so might get something else. Who knows? It is not foldable though.

If it is an old model, you don't need it. There's already a hanger.
