QUOTE(Halia @ Sep 17 2013, 11:34 AM) Any one can recommend a fun, inner city cycling route where the aim is to explore lorong-lorong, jalan-jalan kecil, or areas hard to reach by car? Of course, I have no intention to compete the road with the City Liner, taxi, truck, SUV alike like Chow Keat. If there a light traffic route in the inner city for exploration away from the hustler and bustler of traffic? Would like to hear from you all. Keep up the ride Tern Link Uno. Nuff said. |

I wonder if these brand are reliable tho, I dont want something that later spoil easily. Dr Hon Vybe C7lets say Ill increase my budget up to BELOW RM1000, what's the best bet? QUOTE(CheaTeRz @ Sep 17 2013, 05:15 PM) I see, thanks will consider that Quick release wheels explain it all in words. If I were to rephrase it will be quickly release your wheels for storage, dismantle etc hence quick release.Well, basically im going to use it mainly as a transportation method going back and forth my class and rent house, other than that just a casually ride around my place if you mean by heavyweight as my weight, im damn thin weight around 57KG but 178cm tall XD EDIT: I just dont get what the use of quick release wheels btw search around google, it has something to do with the folding speed? Yup, Vybe C7 doest have QR on their wheel but how many of u seriously use it? |

Is it possible to go up curbs, riding downstairs, bunny hop with our folding bike? Is our bike too fragile to do all this?

QUOTE(CheaTeRz @ Sep 24 2013, 03:02 PM) from having an experience of riding bmx a lot beofre, i would say that the feel of my current foldies and my last bmx are just about the same. even my current foldie are much lighter than i remmber how my bmx was and it temp me really hard to try simple things like bunny hop and run down the stairs I wouldn't dare to say the same as BMX geometry is much different. Moreover, foldie has hinge and bolt smack right in the frame hence that will be the weakest point that I am most afraid. Also due to the latch on the headset. still, didn't dare to do it since I just got my foldie recently so i might wait for another couple of months maybe before doing those things |

QUOTE(samosaurus @ Sep 24 2013, 03:14 PM) Whoahhhh!!! That Ugo has gone to places very few foldies have gone before.. Fully utilized mah.. Hardcore man! Hardcore!!!! Sam Not all trail are rideable. Some to the extend of 70% pushing. Especially those rocky uphill and downhill with steep drop and roots. Afraid that our low geometry foldies doenst have the clearance hence if no confident, push. QUOTE(etigge @ Sep 26 2013, 08:36 AM) When we say off roading on a foldie, we meant simple off road trails like when go cycling and have to pass some laterite or off road trails. It doesn't mean full technical off roading. I think you better sell off your Raleigh Ugo (not to Low Yat forummers anyway as we all know where you ride your bike Haha, no worries bro.. If the trail get too technical, I will jes push the bike. My offroad is kinda light one. |
