We all know that Apple laptops can get quite hot sometimes...
what i would like to know is that ... how about pc laptops?? like those fujitsu , acer , HP... don't these laptops get hot too??
if it's the same problem , i guess it's a general problem with laptops.. right?

One common issue with Apple laptops heating up is due to the excessive thermal paste being applied...

QUOTE(7thlovechild @ May 24 2006, 04:04 PM) yeah.. i know that... but what i dont know is that how about other laptops?? no heating problems?? maybe you have better luck getting feedbacks if you post this under PDAs & Mobile Computing section.... because you're referring to laptops in general... No problems for me if I use it for intensive work in an aircon room... I guess most laptops will really heat up when used intensively.

if you use speedstep technology , it would reduce the CPU's speed , and the heat......thus giving you more battery life
Photoshop = yes Playing GAmes on battery with High settings = double yes Compiling something on the go - yes
