Would love to get feedbacks from Intel Mac users, regardless of portables of desktops.... on CPU temperature (loaded or unloaded)... this is in light of the many portable users complaining of heat issue, and that include certain (desktop) Mac Mini Core Solo/Duo users... In case you don't know which software to use, here's a link to the freeware download below... http://macbricol.free.fr/coreduotemp/index.php?rub=dwnldPost a screenshot if possible and state your Mac specs.... Many thanx... This post has been edited by Eithanius: Jun 17 2006, 03:13 PM

Mine Apple MacBook (RM4399 specs). Normally, just turn on : 26C-30C. A lot of apps on : 50C-60C. I play Halo Demo, and then suddenly shut and open the screen: 80C. My friend 102C. Crazy.

15 inch MBP 2.4 Ghz: 44 degrees Celsius most of the time (min = 38, max = 50). I usually only get temps above 50 when playing some sort of video or when I'm on the bed. If it goes above 50, I'd switch on SMC fan control.
Applications used: Firefox, iTunes, MSN messenger, Y! messenger.
