it depends on your shooting type, you like it small and compact? then take the RX100 as it has much bigger sensor and definitely larger aperture (f1.8) compared to other compact camera, a big plus is that it is pocketable!!! read out more on the RX100 thread, you will see how good the IQ is, i also kena poison edi plus it has build in flash which 5R dun have!

on the other hand NEX 5R give you better flexibility and the lust to change lens...but is not very compact once mounted the kit lens, body is very slim but the lens is big for me...in the end, APSC which is better and stronger ISO, bokeh and noise performance than RX100
