Guys, just wondering as I have not joint any AGM before & just moved in. How's the process looks like? We just attend and cast our vote?

I hardly know any candidate in the list, even if I would like to serve my rights, I don't know who to vote to. Besides, may I ask, is there any current JMB members in the candidate list?

Appreciate any guidance on this...

honestly, i second this point - the view > sound...

Visited One City during the weekend, was a bit shocked with the condition there, most of the facilities were broken which is quite disappointing. e.g. the glass wrapping the glass lift broke, the buttons in the lift broken, the floor is flooded with leaves, etc etc... Went to the sky park (10th floor) which suppose to be the selling point of the place, hardly happening, noticed that the glass ceilings of the building weren't properly fenced which is very dangerous IMO. Don't think the place will be a new hit or drawing SW crowd for the moment... unless there are major improvement to the condition & shops selection. The place doesn't looks like ready at all...

Only attrative point is it has a very large gym, theatre (dunno how was it) and soon a grocery & karoake in another building... All by the One City owner (I guess) based on the outlook. However, I doubt the management team for now...

Wondering what was the selling price of the One City SOHO that one of the forumer mentioned here?...

Since Redtick's selling point is 24 hours delivery service (based on their website, not sure it stands for delivery within 24 hours or 24 hours delivery service... lol), I hope their supermarket is also 24 hours... then that would be special...

If not mistaken, banks do sign contract with dedicated network provider (in this case, bank islam one maybe TM - Unifi). And given the criticality of the banks customer information and real time monetary transactions, bank network need to run on dedicated infrastructure which vendor will promise better uptime and strict SLAs for issue turnaround time. So, when these contracts are signed, even if the branch is at ulu ulu place, the vendor need to ensure the network setup is there. These contracts are different to normal consumer offering...

Btw, I thought maxis fiber is running on top of tm fiber infrastructure. So... I guess it doesn't open to us doesn't mean it isn't here, it probably mean that there is some leasing contract rules between maxis and tm which tm can have a better rental rate from maxis if they “give place” , unless they can cover that lost from our submission rate. End of day, fundamental biz rule is about risk, profit & lost...

Just recently, I tried to have a quick meal at Q Bistro, so 1st thing in my mind is illegal park, eat then ciao... it was 11pm of a weekday anyhow, traffic should be minor.

And that's what I did, found a empty illegal space in front of miyaki but once I parked my car (along other cars which I believe was parked by those who frequented the bars). What amazed me is a security guard (hmm, to be exact, an Indian wearing security guard jacket, not those in uniform, so not sure if he is really a valid security guard for SetiaWalk or not) riding his motor quickly approached and stopped by my door, asking for RM10 for parking fee.

Do note that the slot is an illegal parking slot, which has the no parking sign with clamping icon just less than 1 meter away, in fact the whole stretch of road has these signs. I was thinking, is this a real guard? is this a jockey parking guy? or is this someone who trying to rob me?

Anyway, nothing happened as I refuse to pay and left swiftly. I didn't expect some security guard to collect RM10 from me for the illegal parking, I was much more happier if he has chase me off, at least he is doing a proper job as a security guard.

The only thing I can say is the terrible illegal parking condition in SetiaWalk was actually caused by the management themselves. I wonder if they are aware their security guard (ok, still not sure...just assuming) is encouraging customers to illegal park and happily collect side incomes everyday... (I seriously don't think the payment goes to SetiaWalk pocket.)

Do you guys noticed this situation?...
