If there is none, you can always get your electrical contractor to install one.

There is a light point there. Ask your contractor to use that as the fan point.

why don't u consider natural fan? just let both the "backyard door" and balcony remain open to form an "air flow" and you would hv the healthiest + FREE fan for life :-) This is one of the best kept secrets of SetiaWalk apartment.

If you have a grille at the backyard, then you can protect your privacy with some banner/cover like below..

Ahh? I don't see any reason to shout to the one next to you especially when you are in your own premises.

u need to look n stand further..not just limiting the 'next to u' case.

just imagine these practical scenaria in sw

a group of 3 or more sitting comfortably apart from each other on a sofa n dining table in conversation (the living/dining area is very spacious so much so that even the smallest type D unit can easily accomodate a large L-shape sofa + 1 dining table without any fuss)..need to speak louder

in extreme case, temperamental couples when engaging in loud heated arguments

answering hp calls..scurrying around to look for the area with a 'strong' signal while still carrying on talking louldly to the other party (dun have to tell u lah how weak r the telco signals in sw)

..my point is these involuntary actions that result in raising one's voice will surely spike up the decibel scale in no time n wouldn't wanna embarass oneself or share something with ur curious neighbours or passersby.

for those units facing the lake view, some residents may not be able to withstand the LOUD 'muzeum music' would prefer to keep the balcony sliding door closed, instantly disrupting the flow of air.

but i surely agree that if u r living alone or speaking to a polite n soft spoken partner/spouse/housemate short distance apart then it should be alright. also, its good to allow natural inflow of fresh air to the living area.

anyway i stated loud n not shout.

Speaking of grille at the backyard, for high units is it really necessary to install one? how often a spiderman thief will sneak in from the backyard? biggrin.gif

I have actually asked few questions in my earlier post (deleted). I'm new to this Setia walk place. I'll be moving ther in few days. I've been following the V2 and v3 threads since last week to know more about SW

In my previous (long written) post I've asked stuff such as internet accessabilty, noise and other things that I HOPE SOMEONE CAN HELP TO CLARIFY.
I wanted to call management office but it was public holiday.

About moving stuff :
I was told by agent that my access card cannot be used in resident car park so I must use lobby entrance. I did not take car park for my unit coz I don't need car park for now. Maybe few times a month. (RM100 parking lot deducted from monthly rental)
Next week I'm going to move some stuff with car (from current house in Maple sentul) to puchong) I was curios if i really need to park at visitors car park and go through lobby everytime.

Please note, I'm not from Puchong - still new in KL. and will move ALL ALONE.
Wanted to get some helpful info guys.. icon_question.gif
So running out of time. few days to move and start working again.

I've Never been there at night so I wanted to know how loud/noisy it is from high floor (my unit is in R3 facing forest)

I also asked about getting a cylinder/cooking gas for my unit.

I was hoping to get someone to clarify / help me with some issues with my new place.
I guess i was wrong to post it here. doh.gif

I'll figure it out by myself

Thanks and enjoy your monday smile.gif
