you sure? im just speaking through experience. because last time i bought mirrors edge from steam, it doesnt come with a cd key. heard that u need to contact ea support and provide proof of purchase etc. etc.
i assume that if you redeem through steam, the key gets fixed to the account unlike crysis 2, alice madness returns which comes with a cdkey. i clicked on these 2 games and an ea-authentication screen pops up. entering my email and the cdkey made the games appear in my origin. mirrors edge and kingdoms of amalur apparently doesn't work this way

so i dun need to top up my paypal for doing online purchase..straight away deduct from my card. that is much i know and understood on paypal system works for me.
