hehe i too went for an interview 8-9 months ago
here is what i got out from them, YOU WONT BE HANDLING SAP in terms of actually learning it and using it. you will learn the business process, installation of sap onto machines but not actual hands on experience with SAP. the interview i went was at dksh in PJ. occasionaly they informed me i had to travel to TPM and stuff to learn more on the business process side. as far as salary goes, its standard fresh grad pay so dont expect anything massive. i was also offered contract 1 year. after that 1 year, maybe/maybe not they will renew it. this is for the SAP managment trainee position |

Ya, mine is for SAP management trainee as well, it is a 6 months term employment, and according to them, in this 6 months there will be class room training, involvement in project to support the SAP specialists, etc. They told me that we will most probably be doing business implementation of SAP. What is the likelihood of being an actual employee after the 6 months of training? I thought his position is stationed in TPM, how come some of you are in PJ? Ya true, salary is normal only, would they review it after the 6 months term?

Is the manager a nice person? |

QUOTE(cockerish @ May 25 2006, 12:13 PM) who ever said i was with them? To me, i think it is an opportunity to learn something as they are willing to train someone who does not have any SAP exposure before, and i am not so satisfied with my current job, not much career development, and they dont really train me i said i went for the interview 8-9 months ago i rejected this offer mainly due to the job description im not a the type of guy where u can sit in office and do nothing but listen to peoples crap. and yeah, the word u wont exactly be using SAP turned me off already. The training is about implementing specific functional module to their business process as according to them if i am not mistaken, i got a friend doing this at BAT, not sure if the role is similar. By the way, were u expecting for an abap programming role at that time? |

Hi,Yes, there is allowance given, they call it traineeship allowance, no deduction of EPF i suppose. If no allowance given, how we are gonna survive? i am so surprised to hear that, if no allowance given, i would think this company is worse than a chinaman company. No offence, anyone of you join without allowance??? if so, i would really think less of this company.. seriously!! |

im not too sure about it. when i was there for the interview, that was what i was told. maybe cause he was offered me quite a good salary. but i still doubt the position after he had describe the job responsibility. im actually wondering how in depth are we going in SAP here. Feedbacks are welcome. Cheers
