0-100km/h in 9.9s lol wth so slow meh. Body so heavy no wonder.

Myvi 1.5 non turbo M/T and Vios M/T also under 10 seconds....

IINM Lancer GT (Inspira) also less than 10 seconds....

Even my 30 years old car did it at 9s.
For comparison, duty free Ford Focus ST 2.0 turbo is rm110k+, 0-100 in 6.5s >_>

80k is too expensive.

I'd tried Preve CFE and it is fast as you don't even noticed you hit 100 km/h in less than 10 secs smoothly. It seems that the claimed 0 to 100 km/h time is a bit too conservative (or maybe in normal mode and not Sports mode or manual mode) as I managed to get faster time using the paddle shifter. Will try again next week when I get my hands on the car. The hatchback version should be faster than the sedan. However, the most impressive part of Preve CFE is handling. Myvi & Vios? Hopeless 'tongkang' handling with countless numbers of Myvis turned turtle all over Malaysia.

exactly that's why other cars made expensive by MITI...to make potong looks cheaper

In Thailand, Preve CFE still alot cheaper and better equipped than other C segment rivals such as Altis and Civic.

Test drive review in Thailand:
http://bkkautos.com/proton-preve-test-drive-report

Excerpt:
The Prevé is fun to drive, well equipped, good value for money, spacious, comfortable and comes with a 5-year/150,000km warranty to boot!

So what is the catch? Well, first, it is a Proton and this is Thailand. If this were a Toyota it would be the top selling car in Thailand. Unfortunately, Thai customers would rather buy a Toyota Vios with NO airbags and an 11-year-old engine and transmission system than to take a chance on a Proton Prevé, albeit considerably better in every way.

This is a good car. Perhaps it is just wearing the wrong badge.

How many failed CFE? How many with the Peugeot 308T failed?

Oh you didn't... smile.gif It's true 308 turbos are more problematic, maybe it's not acclimatized to tropical climate. My cousin got rid of her 308T just a few months back.

That's impressive for a tongkang handling 4-wheeled coffin. Why don't you try racing with CFE Preve or Suprima?
