the new peugeot hatch and kia rio hatch already fully loaded specs under RM80K if not mistaken, albeit lower cc engine

but then you better know it's potong that caused your RM80K worth half less than it should be. you can stop the madness by not buying any crap from potong. icon_rolleyes.gif

Are they even in the same segment? rolleyes.gif

The 208 and Rio are smaller than the Suprima.

Pay more, get less.

and you know why 208 and Rio became more expensive?

to make potong appear cheaper?

the government has turned their back on proton. all the excise duty and import duty is not to protect proton, it's for their own pockets.
the only tax proton need not pay is import duty. still needs to pay excise tax.

Malaysia's Proton Wants Continued Tariff Protection
By S. JAYASANKARAN, Staff Reporter of THE WALL STREET JOURNAL, 10 December 2003

KUALA LUMPUR -- Malaysian national car maker Perusahaan Otomobil Nasional Bhd., or Proton, is preparing for increased competition ahead of a looming Southeast Asian free-trade pact by asking the government for continued tariff protection.

In a letter to Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi last month, Proton Chief Executive Tengku Mahaleel Ariff asked that the state-controlled car maker be given another 20 years of protection. Since its inception in 1985, Proton has been sheltered from local and foreign competitors by duties ranging from 40% to 300% on imported auto-parts and cars.

10 year old news. Genius.

10 years ago we had the Waja. Now compare that to the Preve/Suprima.

this was during tengku mahaleel era, of course everyone knows he tun m punya kipas cium bontot.

actual price for preve without tax is rm 37500, for suprima should be around rm 40000.
with government wanting more profit, the tax made it rm72000 for preve.

You wanna buy you buy.

You don't wanna buy you don't buy.

You bising-bising bukan you dapat apa pun.

Mungkin dapat rasa e-penor jadi semakin panjang. Mungkin?

Atau you susah hati you jual kereta bukan Proton orang tak mau beli?
