Backup: right-click -> Backup game files

restore: Top menu -> Steam -> Backup and restore setting -> Restore a previous backup

I usually back up my games to my usb stick then just paste it in a similar folder. Then after paste open steam and use the backup/restore button.

origin no backup feature, but you can directly copy the game folder, give it to your friend and direct the installation directory to the folder so the origin client will detect the game. done that with my DA Ultimate

all games already auto sync to steamcloud right ?

not all games but you can check in the store sidebar to see if it has cloud support.
