Strike Suit Zero is a decent space game. Controls is a bit iffy and difficulty is a bit off at times but if you dont mind these issues, you might enjoy it. Its an ok game for me, despite kickstarted it.
Stacking is a charming platformer with Russian dolls. Fairly interesting game.
Amnesia, Penumbra and Slender, perfect games to scare yourself.
Waking Mars is quite good, but its some platformer that is about exploring and manipulating Mar's ecosystem. Apple actually gave it an Editor's Choice for it. Worth playing if you dun mind the rather simplistic graphics.
Alan Wake is a pretty good game. I had finished it and loved it every second. Great atmosphere with some decent but can be repetitive combat. Buy both if you dont have any.
Heard a lot of good things about Primordia which is an adventure game.
Torchlight, probably one of the best Diablo clones but the sequel Torchlight 2 is better in almost every way.
Omerta, some sort of XCOM lite with a bit of tycoon management. I only watched TB's videos on it and i didnt like it at all, as it looked like the strategic layer is even weaker than XCOM.

The rest, I am not sure whether they are good or not as i either heard very little about them or never heard anything about those games.

Great game to scare yourself though.

The only game I might want to get from GOG now is Theme Hospital... Or hopefully a new modern one.

No Steam keys is given on GOG.

EA holds the rights to Theme Hospital so the modern one will be an always online buggy mess with forced multiplayer like Sim City.

no steam? So DRM-free? or play on other DRM?

GOG games are DRM free. plus, they got freebies with them that doesn't come with steam.

download the installer, install them as many times as u wan, as many machine as u wan..
also comes with various goodies/extra if u buy from gog
