I'm thinking of getting a touchscreen radio replacement for my new Myvi 1.3 SE S-Class. Similar to the one here:

Sorry if this is a n00b question, just wanted to know what brands are recommended at what prices (with installation) and if there's any recommended shops you guys have dealt with.

It would be great if it can also play videos files (specifically mp4, avi... maybe even mkv).

if u looking for a quality 1 with economy price, i suggest u take the 1.5 headunit and put in ur 1.3....

How much for the 1.5 HU including install? Comes with GPS, etc? How big of an upgrade compared to 1.3?

How much for other brand HU? How much would you charge for a HU which has the capabilities I mentioned above?

not much branded OEM replacement unit in the market
OEM replacement mean no need do wiring, just plug and play with the same socket
The 1 i saw there were selling around RM 600-700 if not mistaken
otherwise, like howiechoo said, take the 1.5 n replace in your 1.3

if u look for quality, branded player wont let u play those file u downloaded from net except avi and divx

if u look for a lot feature but sacrifice quality, then china player can let u play a lot file type but of course the sound and pic is worst than you watch from smart phone.

so to get a quality 1 or featured 1, u choose

btw, there's a media player i selling can connect to branded player to let u play variety of files.....quality is ok but the main problem is whether the hu u get got such a nice display or not...if ur display is nice then it will be nice too.
