i didnt spray chrome paint...

Step by step for those who wanna try out

1. Stripe paint using pye paint remover or other brand oso can ( acidic ; becareful )
2. Get ready three sand paper ( 400, 1500, 2000 )
3. Undercoat / Primer coat spray can chrome silver ( if needed )
4. Autosol or any brand available
5. After stripe off paint, use 400 lightly buff the dull metal color off... super gentle, objective just to peel enough the dull section away without leaving too deep groove lines... Do this under running water and will get a smoother effect
6. Repeat with 1500, but this one use harder force as to even out the surface.. also under running water
7. Repeat using 2000, also under running water... even out all the lines initially with pressure.. then lighter and lighter until smooth
8. rinse the casting off... wipe dry
9. rub autosol as per instruction on the tube...
10. wear glove on left hand if u use right hand to hold polishing cloth to buff off or vice versa
11. after the cream dried, buff off until it shines can see ur own face...
12. careful after buff area is shinnning like chrome, do not touch using bare hand.. else finger print will be imprinted and hard to wipe off once shining.. thus require u to repeat the process 11 again... do not try to use transparent lacquer spray to coat it.. will destroy the shine... i have tried that, end up redo again

This can be done onto other metal casting polishing to get chrome like mirror finish.. hopes this helps.. if anyone got a better easier method, pls do share...

i think the same as well.. so far after this two, i tried on kool kombi.. looks great.. yet to try on muscle , jdm and exotic.. but me slowly hunt for cheap loose rm5 old worn off casting... churning something that nobody even wan to look at into something nice is a big satisfaction...

But on a personal note : if all the zamac series where to polish to this kind.. even the peggy zamac will totally sold out...

Imagine stacking up few hundred of this casting up-close together to create a mirror of polish zamac casting, its simply eye blinding bling bling of awesomeness to look at ...

i drill open to subject to torture.. i prefer to "rape" nekkid than fully clothes... ahahhah

but today someone just shown me in watsapp sandpaper polish without drilling , done halfway but have to be extra careful if do not wan to damage fittings... and need to find way to reach diffcult edges

as for convoy bling... u sponsor me convoy i can do one geh.. but after i done and show.. i get to keep it and add to my collection ;P

lol... tq for the comment... but i rather a small group of ppl join in to do hands on customising... i can show u how... me still got few more casting wanna do bling... u wanna join in?

the only stuff u need to bring is

1. polishing cloth ( the orange one from giant and any microfiber polishing cloth )
2. sandpaper 400,1500,2000

the rest i can provide ( paint remover only a small amount needed , autosol also a small amount needed..)

up to u guys.. can be at mcdonald whereby u need a small container of water source... or any other place...
u guys think of a place and time and day....

if small stream running water will be faster... max around half an hr session can get result u wan... mirror finishing but the original lines and pores from factory moulding diecast will be there... if use a container of water to wet and sand paper can sit down roughly around 45 min... its the original lines and pores how u wanna flatten it will be of individual preferences...

1200 and below is for flattening the pores and groves... whereas 1500 - 2000 is for mirror finishing...

because u guys wanna know how to get mirror finishing.. we can do for fun any casting mirror finishing ... then after grasp the idea.. u guys can work back on the same casting on try on other casting to eliminate the ori groves and pores.. show u wat i mean by ori grooves and pores.. if u see mattel ori zamac and look closely, you guys can see the pores and grooves as well.. but covered by some sort of lacquer or paint.. as its not 100% bare metal finishing..

below is the sample pic of original grove and pores from the mould ... this is the grey nissan 350z... only polish using 2000 until mirror finish..
pay attention to the rear light whereby there are no pores and groves... and also certain part no pores and groves..
















as for the location, up to u guys as deemed fit...
