Sigh, been waking up to stalk the servers since 3am+ for 2 nights now. Any idea how long tonberry been closed since christmas?

Yea i actually do have a character on Masamune, saw quite a handful of English speaking players when i started. Well if Tonberry is still locked by the end of my free trial, i guess ill stay in Masamune then. 11days to go lol..

My problem is finding an active SEA guild there, as i wont be able to commit to US/EU timezones.

I have been staying up for a few nights too and have notice a pattern for the servers. For all the servers except Tonberry on elemental data center, there is actually no need to stalk the servers inbetweem the update. Once the servers open up they do not close for another 6-12 hours or so, except for carbuncle which i have seen open up at 4am then close on the next rotation which is 9-10am constantly for past 3 days

However, judging for a server like Tonberry. I think there is a need to check inbetween the updates as we do not know how long it will stay open. Looking at how popular the server is, it might not even take a couple of hours for it to get full again.

I feel our best bet in getting in is waiting for the next maintenance.

I think peak hours would differ depending on the weekdays/weekends, not forgetting its the holidays but i guess for a JP server it would usually be Noon time to early evening. Our best bet to get on the server is in the weeee hours of the morning, 3-6am onwards maybe?

Anyway as usual tonight, i'm kinda expectating servers to open up till carbuncle again. TGIF just flew pass in a heart beat and weekends is already here so i won't keep my hopes up in getting into Tonberry yet . Nonetheless we will endure and keep trying..

I was refreshing it as soon as the update button was ready again, There is no notification. You really have to keep checking after it hits the 4am mark, at least that is how it works for me.
