Anyone keeping white drops for RoS or not? Since white items are rarer then yellows just wondering if everyone's stashing them. Playing PTR and seeing lots of crafting mats come from white items, I started saving them up

answer YES ,only u need sacrifice some state instead OS simple...just keep it some nice weapon without OS currently.

I do ACT 1 COTA T6 with the following group

Monk = puller
2 wizards = damage dealers (very op right now)
myself (barbarian) = i act like a forward scout, finding white creeps using whirlwind and leap, and larcerate. I use the lut sock boots to jump 3 times in a row. so i have very high mobility)

We can clear a cota within 20-25 seconds or less FLAT.

Monk groups everything up, wizards blast them dead under a second or 2. I just run ahead to find creeps, and also to indicate to the other 3 party members which route they should follow from the path i took. I also flag when there is a pool or some mobs they need to kill.

We also maintain a standard route so all the teamplayers know what that route is, and they play better as this gets repeated over and over

I have lesser playtime compared to many of the hardcore players here, but i

already far out leveled them in paragorn. for example, before loot 2.0 patch, i only had 1 character para 100. my other 8 classes were only para 20 and below. So now i have more para than people pre 2.0 that had 10 chars all para 100(in para 2.0 i think that is roughly 300 ish para ?)

Mostly because of the community bonus 50% , Torment 6 exp bonus, leoric signet exp bonus, marquise ruby in helm exp bonus, hellfire ring (i'm still using 1.0 version :{ ) exp bonus.... , 4 players team exp bonus....., pool bonus 25% (can stack to make the bonus last longer), and lastly fast cota clears under 20-25 seconds consistently....
As for gear farming, i recommend doing Core of Arreat runs. I do mine in t6 and just loot demonic chests repeatedly. I notice that the legendary drop rate over time seems to be higher than elsewhere. That is why lots of people do core farm runs. You can do it in T1 i suppose if your not as geared as me.

so 90% of my playtime is cota, and the remaining 10% is core runs. So i can get both high exp and enough legends everyday i play d3  This is way more efficient than just simply re-playing the entire game from scratch if you consider exp + loot over the same duration played when compared to cota/core runs.
i know some people even more hardcore. They are in the 570+ paragorn range
