GNex is still better than any of that, maybe not the S3, but that's because it came out almost 6 months later.

Until now GNex is still performing so well with the latest update, while the rest are forgotten.

ZL came out how many months after Nexus 4? Again, almost 5 months. Nexus 4 was having one of the best hardware when it first launched. Plus, ZL is going to be another forgotten phone anyway, while Nexus 4 is going to be constantly updated with the latest OS.

I disagree that Gnex is "not that beautiful". GNex has a minimalist black monolith front design, devoid of any branded logo, making it the one of the best looking device imo. Any form of logo in the front just makes it unbearable for me now ever since Nexus design is available. It's just the right thing to do to put user experience above own brand awareness.

Battery, mine is fine even after 2 years of usage without changing battery, 3 hours+ on screen time, one day+ battery life with casual usage. Don't see the problem with its battery. Where do you even get the weak GPS signal? I have no problem using the GPS. The only complain I would have is the average camera, but still gets the job done provided there are sufficient lights, as it perform quite badly in low lights.

N7 2012 was expensive probably due to the import fees if you're one of the early birds. Now you can get it quite cheaply, and it still is a better tablet than most.

Everyone is hoping for a lower price, of course, that includes me, but don't assume it has inferior hardware just because of its lower price point.

Yes I do agree GNex is a bit too expensive at the time, but still I'd rather get a GNex given the choice since the OS support is a priority to me. Faster official update release = faster custom ROM developed.

However, it was only until Nexus 4 that they started to make the Nexus devices to have the best bang for buck deal. Nexus 7 was maybe inflated in price at that time, but that's probably due to Asus, since the official price for Nexus 7 is among the lowest compared to other tablets.

They're not the best deal since we're living in Malaysia, our price are always higher than US counter parts, but right now can you say that a 16GB Nexus 4 for RM990 is not value for money?

BTW, If you really want the best bang for buck, you should probably check out Xiaomi's phone, they're incredible in specs and value.
