Time for a change from Gnex to Nexus5 rclxm9.gif rclxms.gif
Been waiting to change since N4. The white one seems to be pearl white though it would seem that the black one is more sexier. hmm.gif

Yea but there's a catch
"NOTE: Since it's limited quantity, current preorder only accepting internal preorder for ex-customers or those really patient to wait. PM us if you fulfill either requirement! Thanks. "

Still, I think that buying through LG Malaysia is a better option... but the waiting time is awful.

If you live in Malaysia, buy Malaysian unit, if you live in US buy US unit. Senang cerita warranty.

Lol dilemma now.  Should or shouldn't get the us version? I don't mind about the LTE band really. But will the Malaysian set be priced close to the price of us set?  Say if the 16 model will cost Rm 1100 in US, how much will it be in Malaysia?  RM 1600?
*
From the n4 pattern...yes. it will be around 1.6k. but theres no sure word on this

everyone is talking abt tumpang beli here and there.  i got a question....

exactly what does the "Ceramic power and volume" button does?  any superpower there?
*
QUOTE(demio121 @ Nov 1 2013, 03:04 PM)
i read the spec sheet and i can get that this is a monster of a phone but ceramic....

i google and found this article about the advantage of ceramic over steel.

i guess these 2 button we pakai tekan all the time, so need to be more tahan lasak.
*
that is a bit technical but ceramics have a higher hardness than steels which means it is more durable. its considered a pro.

It support LTE in Malaysia.  rclxm9.gif

But just warranty problem hmm.gif
*
Their warranty policy seem interesting. Help you to settle if theres a defect within 1 month and if after that there is any problem they will assist in RMA. Just pay RM70. I guess this is the price of getting the phone first-hand. But there's no telling that in 3-5 weeks, Nexus5 might just landed here in Malaysia already...

after seeing this, I think the white one is nicer.

Still gonna take the black one. I prefer matte sides and back though.

But the white earpiece is interesting. At first I thought its the LED light but then.. woah. Some innovation, huh?

Rather than LTE, don't u guys care about warranty if purchasing oversea unit? Japan, aussie, uk, etc.

Needs to send back there minimum 2-3 weeks if got problem, man.

Are you sure japan set LTE compatible with malaysia and singapore?
Anyone can double confirm that?

Mystery Solved.

Some guys over here in this forum HardwareZone SG, they managed ask Google Japan and even ordered the Nexus 5 from Google Japan PlayStore. And they confirm works in Singapore LTE.

So means that if work in Singapore LTE means also works in Malaysia LTE.
