Hehe im studying in UK for 1 year exchange. I might consider getting nexus 5 over xperia z1 given the specs, design, price is right...

If i were to get from google store uk (since im in uk studying at the moment), the price is fixed right? wont drop by much?

everything is more expensive here in uk because of the VAT tax..I managed to get a new logitech mouse from logitech uk for free while logitech malaysia dont really approve my warranty claim.

Still, I compared the price of uk google store of nexus 4 with the nexus 4 in malaysia and nexus 4 in us google store, the nexus 4 in us is cheapest while uk google store nexus 4 and lg malaysia nexus 4 same price.So i think it might be worth it to get a nexus 5 from the google store.

I doubt it will be so cheap.. My guess is about 1.5-1.8k rm.

It will be much more expensive than that in uk. You can compare iphone prices in us and uk, then you'll know the difference. UK have the vat tax..

But I hope im not mistaken cause i think the price will be the same as the price by LG malaysia, judging from what i observe from nexus 4.
Ori set of nexus 4 in malaysia is 1100 now while nexus 4 in play store UK is £200. After convert, it's more or less the same or even cheaper.

but the white one is the same as the white on nexus 4 which is white on the back and black on the front which is ugly imo.

349 usd in us play store is gona be 299 pound in uk play store if you follow the price of nexus 7 32gb wifi+lte edition.

So 299 pound is rm1500 which is quite cheap imo..Not sure whether its 16gb or 32gb edition though..

UK set price is the same as malaysia ori set price if im not mistaken, due to the VAT tax.

I blame google and kitkat for all the teasings. Makes me impatient and cannot wait for it.

And my guess for the price of nexus 5 16gb in uk would be £299 .
Cause if the rumour price of $349 for nexus 5 16gb in us is true, then in uk the price would be £299.
(I get to this conclusion through price comparison of nexus 7, in us, its $349, in uk, it is £299.)

If i were to bring some nexus 5 back to Malaysia, how much roughly can I sell it for?assuming price is £299.

Haha Im waiting for it too. But I'm not sure whether to get 16gb version or 32gb version.

My guess would be £299 for 16 gb and £349 for 32gb version.

And I'm also torn between n5 and z1. Z1 is a beast phone with beast camera and waterproof while n5 is cheaper by about rm300-500..

If you want to claim the VAT tax, you have to leave the Uk within 3 months from the time you buy the product.

I just got the phone today and all i can say is the phone is a huge upgrade from my xperia arc. Everything is perfect so far, except for the power button which will make some rattle sound but i can live with that.

The smoothness is unbelievable.

Carphone warehouse for £295,free shipping. Im currently studying in the uk.

Anyway, i just notice that the speaker volume is softer than my xperia arc.

The only thing i find it not that good is the speaker quite soft, the focusing of camera is quite bad(quite hard to focus correctly) , and the rattle power button.

I got it from UK as I'm currently studying in UK.
