I also feell that that the camera button on lock screen kinda pointless since we already have the swipe to left shortcut. Having two at the same time is pointless and lack purpose.

oh is it? I will still be one of the first queuing to get this phone man. Been using since eclairs/froyo days...
I am a loyal supporter of android, but not a blind supporter...

Then perhaps we should remove the swipe to left to camera, if a simple button is a better solution.
I mean it's not a big deal, but since android has reached a stage where they are polishing every aspects, these are the details they could look at.
I am a software developer myself, having two similar features at the same place seems like unnecessary and not very elegant.

But well now i look back from the froyo android to now, android has some really amazing journey!
