all items sold locally in Australia should come with GST incl. with proper tax invoice

some tips on claiming GST at TRS counter in airport,

- purchase must be a minimal amount of 300AUD, on a single receipt or several purchases but only at the same store or same store at different branches.

- a proper Tax Invoice must be shown to TRS officer for a successful claim, it must have
the word Tax Invoice written on it, company name and ABN number, total price and GST amount charged (or total price with GST incl. stated)

Google Store did have some issues handling out Tax Invoices for the N4, this has been resolved very recently,

the GST claimable for N5 16GB with shipping is

$399+$19 = $418

subtract 10% = GST is $38, approx RM 110

price of N5 after GST deduction = $380 AUD, approx RM 1,140

FYI, Nexus 4 and 5 AU are shipped from Singapore

paying RM 1,999 to any of the lowyat sellers here is the most nonsensical thing you can ever do in your life, but then again maybe that's how malaysia has been for the years I was away, my own country folk will always prey on the weak minded, the ignorant and the egotistical.

Yeah agreed, if you guys want to pay RM1999 then why dont just pay a little extra and get those flagship phone instead? Like htc one etc, I mean the major selling point of nexus is that its cheap right?
