I change the display setting in my hypptv box (EV6106v5) under "Settings" option and change from 720p/60 to 1080p/60 After I saved, my TV showed it is in 1080p/60 mode.. Then I select HyppTV and going to see LUKE HD then my TV blackout a while and TV now showed only 480p.. If I press Home button in my remote, my TV change back to 1080p/60 How to solve this ? Thanks. |

QUOTE(powerwoot @ Sep 17 2014, 12:30 PM) what output cable are you using, HDMI or composite? likely your TV can't process the signal, imo. Does your TV have any setting that could be set to auto mode? Using HDMI cable.I think there is nothing to do with my TV. As I go back to main screen where I can select HyppTV, Media File, ....., my TV will switch back to 1080p/60 |

QUOTE(RAMChYLD @ Sep 21 2014, 01:17 PM) Sounds like the set top box doesn't like the TV's HDCP key (usual problem, the HyppTV decoder is very paranoid. Even analog has Macrovision protection). Test on a different TV, and if still occur then call TM for a replacement decoder since can claim as faulty. Yea, i did lodge a call to TM and request to change a difference decoder at the end, the result still the same. But if decoder connect direct to TV, it doesnt have any issue. can get 1080p/60Before that i connect my STB to my yahama AV, then use it's hdmi out to my TV hdmi ARC enabled port. i can get 1080p in main screen, but after i select hypptv my tv blackout a shot while and i can see it is downscale to 480i |

QUOTE(AVFAN @ Sep 21 2014, 04:51 PM) well... u shud hv said it works ok with direct connection to tv earlier... becos most people do that! At the moment all my devices (STB, Desktop, XiaoMi MiBox) are connected to my AV Receiver and another "HDMI Out" from my AV Receiver to my TV HDMI with ARC. Such as connection I no need optical cable from my TV back to my AVR.u connect stb hdmi to avr, then avr hdmi output to tv hdmi arc? this may be the problem. why do u not connect avr hdmi output to one of the regular hdmi inputs of tv? all used, no more? With your suggestion, from my AVR HDMI Out to regular HDMI port to TV, then use optical cable from TV back to AVR, This will solve the issue? |

QUOTE(AVFAN @ Sep 21 2014, 11:26 PM) i dun understand yr setup... can't follow what u mean by the red part. sorry for the confusion. Let me explain further:r u new with avr's? all devices can be connected via hdmi (depending how many input in yr avr, can be 3, 4, 5, 6...) to avr. from avr, the output goes to one of the hdmi input of tv. that's all. this way, the avr is the center. u select which device input at avr when playing, that video output goes to tv, no need to change channel on tv. audio will come from avr->speakers only, no audio from tv. there is no need to to use arc or optical cable at all. if u want audio on tv too, u need to connect differently. to be clear and not confuse anyone further, pls let us know: - yr avr - is it new with hdmi connections to STB, Desktop, XiaoMi MiBox? - yr avr connected how many speakers? - what do mean by "HDMI Out from my AV Receiver to my TV HDMI with ARC"? - why do u think it is necessary to connect avr by hdmi to tv and again tv back to avr by arc? sorry... answers from readers here can only come if yr info is clear n complete... TV: Panasonic TH-L42E6k AVR: Yamaha RX-V475 and it has 5 HDMI input which include 1 HDMI MHL, one HDMI output. - my AVR initially used to connect to my desktop only, Recently add in STB and XiaoMi MiBox - only 2 floor stand speaker is connected. - 3 of my devices connected to HDMI input of my AVR. From AVR, HDMI Out to my HDMI input of my TV |

QUOTE(RAMChYLD @ Sep 22 2014, 03:51 AM) From the sound of it I think your AVR doesn't support the HyppTV box's HDCP key. Either that or it doesn't support HDCP at all (unlikely unless it's more than 10 years old). Connect your STB to the TV's HDMI port directly and use the TV's ARC to pass the sound to the AVR instead and see if that works. I have no issue before when I use HyppTV Box EC2108. Come across this kind of issue when change to EC6106V5Like I said before, the HyppTV box is designed to be stupidly overparanoid for whatever reason only Huawei knows. Even if it comes across one HDCP key it doesn't recognize in the chain, it will straight away drop to SD. |

QUOTE(giggs_509 @ Sep 24 2014, 12:46 AM) You need to know your HyppTV iptv userid and passwordeg. name@iptv pass: 123456 (usually this is default pass for most user set by TM) then you have to call TM to map the Mac Address on STB u bought so that the can be used under your account. |

QUOTE(McFcker @ Oct 1 2014, 08:43 PM) I have similar issue like you especially when watch HD channel, that time technician came over my house and change new STB to me. Once he change it, I have similar issue like you. First they change new HDMI cable for me because background color of the main menu is different color than actual. After changed, still not smooth. But this time the color of home screen is ok. After goto HyppTV, not smooth. Technician call to their call center, not what they did. and TV program back to normal. This is just my experience hope it can give you some hints. |

QUOTE(kaiser_falco @ Jan 12 2015, 06:52 PM) anyone know how to force unifi hypptv to display 1080p? im using it connected to yamaha avr (rxv477) and i notice it will play in 1080p short while and after that revert to 480p connection via hdmi. cable swap this that most of basic troubleshoot all done but image still revert back. I had exactly same issue with you as I'm using RX-V475. The only way to rid of the picture downsize to 480p, you have to bypass your AV Receiver. Connect your HDMI cable from ur STB direct to TV HDMI. |

QUOTE(AVFAN @ Jun 27 2018, 04:57 PM) was mentioned in the media >a year ago. then this is the good news and we "might" get a cheaper price... hopefully.netflix in unifitv must not be too expensive for users to take. but if too low, it will be hard for unifitv to invest in new STBs to justify. +RM20 ok, But the question is when this will happen ?
