Maybe request for a method to override display aspect ratio as well (I don't mind picture stretching to full screen - in fact, I prefer it to LCD persistence forming lines on my TV), but some people apparently do).
I looked into the setup aspect ratio settings. I think that only affects the menu UI, the show will always stretch to meet screen aspect ratio.

looks to me all the ruby movies are original 16:9 stretched to about 3:1 on my tv, large black bars on top and bottom.
