I find Hypptv's decision to scrape Astro Supersports 1 and 2 totally sucks!

I subscribed to Sports Package because of this... and now I got blind sided by the news. What else can I do considering I am binded by a 2 years contract. Hypptv sucks!!!

same thing here, bro... I am stuck because of the contract too... 16 months to go...
I called up TM.. wanna downgrade my speed and cancel all pack... even I decided to pay for RM 500 penalty also cannot.. they said, now, 30mbps is the lowest speed available.. we cannot downgrade further... damn it

I just called TM on this. I dont' know if it is 1 years or 2 years. Doesn't matter because it is a packaged deal. Even if you do not want the package now, the next available one is 199 and you can only change to that. So to me no difference as all.

TM's stand is they give you one Hypptv package for free...

With no one wanting to subscribe to Sports package now, I bet they will not do anything to it to enhance the content. This Hypptv is not going to survive... poor us have to continue paying through our nose for the internet which the speed itself is a joke considering the current speed available in other countries.

Below is what I e-mailed to TM Unifi just now. Not very hopeful of a fruitful reply from them. But then nothing venture nothing gain...got nothing to do ma!..just cacau them! Maybe also follow up to MCMC and National Complaints Bureau PM Department.

Remembered I did a similar thing pertaining to hardware issue and the feedback was good. They call me up, came to my place and fixed. About a few days later they call me up again to check. This after I wrote to MCMC.

Saya langgan TM Unifi Pack Jumbo berkuatkuasa March 2016. Pakej ini menawarkan saluran Sukan Astrosupersports 1 dan Astrosupersports 2. Ini adalah sebab utama saya saya langgan Pack Jumbo kerana pakej ini menyediakan 2 saluran sukan yang tersebut antara lain lain saluran hiburan yang baik.

Mulai dari 1 Ogos 2016 TM Unifi tiba-tiba menamatkan 2 saluran tersebut ini. Saya rasa amat tidak puas hati dan kecewa dengan tindakan ini oleh TM Unifi. Saya membayar hampir RM200 sebulan untuk pakej ini dan kini ditamatkan. Ini adalah tidak adil kepada Pelanggan dan hak Pelanggan. Kalau begini saya mengadu bahawa TM Unifi mengurangkan langganan bulanan secara pro rata.

Pada masa akan datang jika saluran sukan yang serupa ini kembalikan saya tidak kisah membayar langganan bulanan yang biasa.

Jawapan Tuan/Puan sangat dihargai. Terima kasih banyak atas kerjasama Tuan/Puan.

Can i know how to view it on my PC? im a unifi user here with the hypp tv
subscriber. Must i register first? or log in using FB password?

HyppTV Everywhere on the PC didn't use to work for a couple of years now. But decided to test it and was surprised to find it working now.. Guess they finally fixed the plugin issue... using Mozilla Firefox... Worked for a couple minutes... Resolutions appears to be between 480p - 720p on max streaming speed..

*HyppTV Everywhere on PC
*Register if you haven't already. I pre-registered (on Android's app) when it was introduced and login still works.
*Attempt logging (normal...not FB) in with your HyppTV Everywhere Plan's credentials... I.e. the username ends with @iptv.
*Page will prompt you to download and install web TV plugin.
*After installation, restart your browser for good measure.
*Revisit page above...Login...Interface loads...
*Select channel available to you package... Click Watch..
*Profit!!

Edit... Attempted to change channels and got the below response... Logging out and back in, didn't help either.. So yeah... Still screwed... Lousy job..


Edit... I strongly advise against installing the Web TV Plugin..cuz immediately after its installation, it starts eating up the free space on the C: Drive until Windows reports no free space available.. Probably what caused the playback error.. Took awhile to track down the culprit. A quick uninstall later and voila...Space regained!!... OS: Fully updated Windows 10.

Thanks for testing it out. I test it last nite on my laptop it works well and i test it on my desktop it doesn't work.
Getting the same error as you. But when i try to log into my laptop again that was (previously working) it doesn't
load again. Now my laptop and desktop is getting the same error and also my Android mobile.
Guess they didn't really care about the error.

This their reply to me regarding the removal of Astro Channel especially AstroSupersport1 and AstroSuperSport2:

Walaubagaimanpun, pihak encik boleh merujuk terma dan syarat seperti di bawah:

CANCELLATION, SUSPENSION OR DELAY

TM reserves the right to cancel, modify, suspend or delay the subscription of any and/or combination of any HyppTV Pack stated above in the event of any unforeseen circumstances beyond its reasonable control. For the avoidance of doubt, any cancellation, modification, suspension or delay by TM shall not entitle the Subscriber to any claim or compensation against TM for any and all loss or damage suffered or incurred by the Subscriber as a direct or indirect result of the said act(s).'
