I was tempted to 'upgrade' when they ring me a couple of days ago. But after hearing there's a new contract, I said, no thanks.

The bold, 24 months contract is for taking the Hypptv service itself, for Pack it will be 12 months contract each. This is something you have to check it again with them.

that's correct, u can have it - pay another rm60 la!!

No, if u convert to Jumbo, u only need to add additional RM10
because previously Megapack is RM50, now Jumbo is RM60
u still entitled that RM50 discount, but need add additional RM10

just came off the phone with them, after escalating to 2nd level, i am now entitled to that stream champion deal. Therefore, according to the promo, add RM50 for sports pack and free upgrade from 5 to 10mbps. thought of trying my luck with the jumbo pack, she put me on hold and checked with her superior, and got approval. so now, paying RM209 (add additional RM10), and will enjoy jumbo pack.

well, based on my past experiences with CS, they are at times also blur blur to what being offered as TM keep on changing this and that... I remember there was a time when they need 3-4 months to solve a small overcharged of RM 50 when i changed package... that also, some arguing that they were right to charged it... then, there is another time when my credit card being charged twice in a month... again, it took me a full 3month to get back my money...
so, no surprise if they are not clear...

I jumped into the package. From paying RM149 a month, now oging to pay RM209 a month.

The speed bump alone was worth it, now I can even watch the sports stuff without waiting anxiously for the stream to not drop.

It's just a cost of having a balanced life. RM60... ok la. I spend more than that in a day for foods biggrin.gif

Go to OCC and edit your package. If you're on Mega you can remove it and then add the Jumbo package (-50, +60) so you can now enjoy Jumbo for RM10 more than Mega only.

i see... occ is the portal. i never used it, so tried to create an account. failed... dunno why it won't accept my customer name. may call them and ask.

i know new users and upgraders can get jumbo.

i like to ask again... becos no one has confirmed done so far:

existing vip10 user with megapack paying rm199 can switch to vip10 with jumbo by paying rm209 or not?

if u have done it or got rejected after asking them, please let me know as i really don't wanna waste time calling them again having been old NO just a week ago.

thanks!

Yup, as AVFAN pointed out, it's the self-serve portal to check/edit your account/package and payment details. I found out from the Jumbo FAQs that upgrading to Jumbo for existing users could be done via OCC as well so I checked it out. Got as far as the page where you can edit your packages as I described before, but didn't proceed further as I haven't decided if I want to switch from Mega to Jumbo just yet. But at least I know I can change it there next time...
