belkin has 2 model, 1 is 1A another 1 is 2.1A. The 2.1A should be fast enough

My XZU finally have a scratch.. at the back. I am very heart-hurt T.T

The back Anti shatter protector can peel off?
*
Me too.. Before this doesn't realize it, but yesterday when I clean my XZU, see a lot on very fine hairline scratches at the back.. That's why today went out to hunt for accessories in Lowyat Plaza. But very hard to find casing for this device. I end up just bought sp and stick at the back side, while the front sp I just keep..

The back side also got shatter proof film is it? I thought just the front side

Just put sp on top la.. Use matter sp.. Mine cannot see scratch anymore

1 thing annoys me.. The proximity senser doesn't work well for me when I'm on call.. It's not defective, it working perfectly if I test by putting my finger on the sensor.. But I think because of the large size, the sensor always away from my face/head during on call, so the screen sometime wake up and my ears touching the screen and clicks the toggles setting or random things.. Is it just me, or anybody experience the same? I think they should putthe sensor right bbelow the speaker somewhere nearthe sony letter

seriously, i can't deny anymore, in terms of smoothness, HTC One wins over XZU.. i guess this is because of how well the ROM is being developed.. maybe HTC has more experience, and Sense 5 seems almost perfect.. on my XZU, still see slight lags, and when i use Next Launcher 3D, also slight jumpy, in which it ran smooth on HTC One

I know I'm slow, but finally managed to upgrade to firmware .475 after so many attempts.. Guess what, I tried so many times on my Mac, but none success.. Then, I boot on Windows 7 on my Mac, then I did it successfully at first attempt. So I conclude that the Mac Sony Bridge app is suxx. Any other Mac user here having similar experience?

Guys, I am finding a casing, I like the Nillkin hard case

You guys prefer back side casing or flip casing?
*
I prefer back case.. But have been lurking around to find it with no success.. Found a few but don't like them.. If I put the ori free flip case, it can hardly fit into my pocket

hope mine is well ...

Where got many issue? As I recall not much problem in terms of lack of QC.. But most here maybe due to physical damage during usage, or just mere user comments / reviews on what they like or dislike about this phone.

Errghh too many posts after I left for just 5 days, lol..

I went to Tioman this week. During that time, I experienced weird things with my XZU. I first noticed it when I was in ferry to Tioman, I was asleep. When I woke up, I check my phone, unlock screen, then the touch screen become haywire.. It auto click here and there without me touching it, and it's not responsive to my touch. I lock back the screen, wait for about 1 minutes, then unlock it back, the it's OK again. Then during the stay in Tioman, it happened many times that I thought my unit might be faulty and was very disappointed. But I wonder why suddenly it happened like that.. I was thinking to send it back to SC.

But then, I'm back yesterday.. Now I'm waiting for the thing to happen again, but it's not! I dunno why it become like that.. Already overnight and I'm still waiting for it to happen again.. Weird...

Anyway, new firmwares .510 now is it.. Hope it will improve the device more

I upgraded the firmware through the Sony PC Companion and no issues whatsoever. Everything seems to work as intended so far. I also noted voice calls are more solid now.

I have been facing this issue when making calls from the XZU. From my experience with my Galaxy Note II, S2, HTC One, iPHONE and Lumia, the screen is turned off and disabled until the call is ended. While the screen on the XZU is turned off (goes black) it is not disabled. When your ear touch the screen, it will trigger the "Notification" panel to open and what ever quick access feature your ear touches, will either deactivate or activate it; depending on your original settings. Any faces this and any solution to overcome this without the need to get a Bluetooth ear piece?
*
I got similar issue, but it is because the way I hold the phone, the proximity sensor doesn't detect my face/ears, so the screen turned on during call and my face might clicks the screen especially the toggles.. But it doesn't happen if the screen is turned off by the proximity sensor.. But in your case, u said the screen is still active even though it turned off during call? That's sounds like a defect

Just updated with 510 Malaysian firmware.  Didn't like the optimise back light feature and the current xperia wallpaper replaced with a more washed out wallpaper. The speaker sounds louder though,  good improvement for that.  Hopefully stability has improved too. Experienced the fake screen of death during reboot but as few seconds waiting it boots back to normal so I'm ok with it.

So can upgrade officially using the PC companion now?

What is the best music app that can buy music like itunes?
*
iTunes biggrin.gif

If u ask for something like iTunes, u will never find one on Android.. What we have in Android is quite different and usually more customizable. I would recommend Poweramp.

This phone become heavier after more than 3 weeks usage.. The home screen transition a bit bumpy.. I know might be due to I have a lot of widget on my home screen.. But on my previous HTC One, my home screen was full of widgets, it's still running buttery smooth.. After I left my HTC One, I really do appreciate the stability of Sense 5.. Sony have to work harder to improve its ROM.. Based on specs, this phone having the raw power that put it on top for the time being. Thus, I'm disappointed that it did not perform as what the spec sheet suggests. Always, the operating system configuration is more important than raw power.

Anyone facing 'auto touch'  problem?  I didn't touch anything but the screen sense that I'm touching and messing up the whole thing.
*
I posted about this yesterday, I experienced it while I was in Tioman this week.. But weird enough when I'm back it doesn't happen again.. I guess u need to shut down, pull out both sim card and microsd , then put back and restart.. That what I did once I'm back, because in Tioman I use other number since Digi no signal there.. I have no idea if it really solve the problem tho..

further optimisation on its ROM is definitely needed but I thought Sony's ROMs are more or less closest to AOSP style sweat.gif

No where close to AOSP but it's the cleanest skin I ever use.
*
The UI doesn't need to be plain simple to run smoothly.. I ran Next Launcher 3d on htc one, using the fanciest setting, it still running smooth.. The most important is the ROM is tweaked to take the maximum advantage of the hardware..

Yes I read it but searching for solution as restart doesn't fix it. It jjust happen occasionally though.  Will try your method later thanks bro
*
Mine so far doesn't happen again.. It's very weird.. It just happen during the Tioman trip.. Would it be possible that the particles/dirts/dusts attached on the screen makes the screen clicks itself? Because that time I did a lot outdoor activities.. Can anyone explain how XZU touch screen react with stylus? Because it can detect pencil, it might detect random other materials as well, no..? tongue.gif
