QUOTE(gti6165 @ Aug 15 2013, 04:18 PM) should be network issue. i also use maxis. it happend to me last week. didnt bother that much because of holiday and was mostly on wifi all day. This week seems to be ok. no more "no data connection" issue.Like @iAlien said, better check with Maxis 1st. or better, try another sim from digi / celcom / umobile etc etc to check |

This week seems to be ok. no more "no data connection" issue. I used Celcom, no issue so far. I noted Maxis coverage has slackened since they rolled out LTE.Like @iAlien said, better check with Maxis 1st. or better, try another sim from digi / celcom / umobile etc etc to check |

QUOTE(benny888 @ Jul 31 2013, 09:21 PM) Finally I manage to find only one old ( inkless ) ballpen that works perfectly and seamlessly ( as well as the pencil) for writing, pointing to launch apps, typing on keyboard, sketching etc . I have 14 of such old inkless ballpen of various brands/types I got this pen while attending an exhibition about 2 years ago at Suntec Singapore. It is more convenient to carry a pen than a pencil to use with this phone So it is true some ballpen points can work !! [attachmentid=3563934] QUOTE(benny888 @ Aug 15 2013, 03:16 PM) Seamlessly ?? Is a joke !! I have said many times the writing of the XZU cannot compare to Note 2. If I rate Note 2 a 10 for smoothness, accuracy n speed the XZU will only score a 1-2. Forget about extensive writing on the XZU and most probably you will want to throw the phone if you wish to do that. Taking short notes is still OK Err.. Uncle Benny, you yourself said said it work perfectly and seamlessly as quoted above.. I can write quite OK ( with very slow speed ) and better with pencil but than only for few words notes. With the SP on, now the pen is now hopeless and worse. Can forget about using it to write Pencil use 2B type. For pen - you just need to test out with what you have |

QUOTE(un_id @ Aug 15 2013, 10:50 PM) Err.. Uncle Benny, you yourself said said it work perfectly and seamlessly as quoted above.. Bro, this thing doesn't have an active digitizer. I was excited before launch that despite the lack of it, it could handle writing/scribbling properly. Apparently it doesn't, and after some testing myself, I just shrugged and moved on, although I still like it simply for its size.Even though uncle benny said it was seamless in his earlier, I didn't really believe it At best, the XZU screen is one small notch up from your standard capacitive screen, and won't take any kind of writing properly. I would say perhaps the correct term may be "stroke registration" since it performs very poorly unless you write slowly. |

Just got my XZU DK30 dock today.
![]() Short review:- - Used with my Capdase 2.1A car charger and it seems to charge just as fast as using direct USB cable. - Is a bit on the light side. Would prefer more weight, but light is good for portability! - The magnetic strength is quite good. Just enough to ensure steady link from XZU to the dock, and you can easily detach the XZU from the dock. However, I personally would prefer a much stronger magnet like what is used in my MacBook Pro Retina's charge-port so the XZU can easily latch-on without even looking at the dock. - If you are using the bundled flip-case, you may need to DIY the case to break an opening at the magnetic charging port of the XZU and use the bundled dock adapter for XZU covers. I haven't really looked further into this but in the future, maybe. - The USB cable is not detachable from the DK30, but the quality is quite acceptable. Of course, I would prefer detachable cable like when I was using Nexus 4 Wireless Orb Charger. - The DK30 has a flat base which you can put DIY some adhesive and stick it anywhere, including your car's dashboard! - Last but not least, no need to open the USB flap anymore! |
