I'm afraid a proper OIS is more of a hardware feature rather than a software. Some software like FX provide stabilizer but it doesn't really make a difference than making sure your hands are steady before a taking a shot.

Edit: The xtremeguard is not bad. How much will it costs?

That one is true.
Precisely OIS uses hardware instead of software.
Since its using Sony Exmor sensor, I'm looking forward on Sony's Digital Image Stabilization ie Super SteadyShot.

Adding customizable shutter speed on stock camera would DEFINITELY improve the jittery and blurry images.
my hands aren't steady FYI.
That's why I need such features.

For that to happen have to wait for custom ROM. I believe Lenovo won't entertain the idea of OIS, else they'll slot it in long time ago. Without OIS shooting at night is quite challenging. I think success rate for me is 1 out of 6 or 7 photos.

just got my lenovo k900 yesterday!

well im a lil bit dissapointed with the phone, after reading review that they claimed it is a beast, with constant stuttering with stock launcher. and scores in benchmark are not that high compared to the ones that ive seen on reviews.

but overall im still happy with the device. affordable price plus great screen and design.

No news. But I'm actually quite happy with their latest update that fix the loudspeaker issue and adjust the camera brightness to 100%.

The 27k score? Antutu revised their software and with the latest update, K900 sits at around 21k. At 21k, the phone sit in between HTC One and Sony Xperia Z (benchmark alone), both more expensive than K900.

i want to buy this phone too, but looking at the trend, it should go to RM1.1k by year end. i don't mind waiting.. a lot of competition coming in for phablets.

the price increased already..before rm1299 now the cheapest will be rm1349~

My k900 battery goes down from 100% to 99% everytime i use it for 5sec after unplugging from charger. Is it a norm for everyone else?
