QUOTE(((Xa))0102 @ Jan 13 2014, 12:47 AM) This is most likely due to bad optimisation. The graphics card can obviously render faster. But the kernel was unable to steep up the frequency fast enough to prevent the lag. well, what i can hope is that, in the upcoming versions of Android, it will fix that issue, or wait for Lenovo to release a better firmware update. maybe i will revert back to stock ROM.

QUOTE(RickRock @ Jan 13 2014, 05:35 PM) Hi, new owner here, why need to drain the battery? Mind to share. Thanks I read on other forums that you need to calibrate the battery by fully discharge the phone, then recharge it again. this is in order to get a better battery life. but normally, it won't cause any harm even if you don't do so.

QUOTE(cliv @ Jan 15 2014, 09:51 AM) That day, I try to format my phone, by using Vol Up + Power, then select reset factory something like that and clear cache. After reboot, yes all the account, apps deleted, but wifi profile still there, internet browser cache still remain, do you know how to do a clean clear the android system for our k900? i remember that you should select Reset Device. not sure if both are the same or not.

QUOTE(DarkByte @ Jan 21 2014, 07:21 PM) hmmm this phone is troublesome huh? i'd say 1/2 of it. troublesome part is you need to find the correct package and follow the steps carefully when flashing. the best part of it - ITS UNBRICKABLE. QUOTE(SugarCoatedCandy @ Jan 22 2014, 12:53 AM) Off to the service centre for me.. can't be revived.. try reflashing with EU package, then only flash Ronald's rooted ROM.

QUOTE(((Xa))0102 @ Jan 22 2014, 02:44 PM) Its a way to describe a phone after being useless, you use it as a paper weight. haha, because im good at preventing stuffs. now, flashing back to Vibe ROM V6. the stock ROM isnt very friendly to me.

QUOTE(LiMcZ @ Jan 23 2014, 10:50 AM) i am looking for a new phone.. lenovo seems to be cheaper and spec also promising, may i ask sifu here, any trouble with the unit so far?? does it worth the money?? i looking ar A850 and K 900 thx... hi /k/tard. owned the phone for 1 month and i dont have any issues with it, works flawlessly. i bricked my K900 last week but i am able to recover it (the K900 is unbrickable). Lenovo K900 rocks. to add : best if you flash it with Vibe ROM, a MIUI like android ROM by Lenovo.

QUOTE(LiMcZ @ Jan 25 2014, 08:25 AM) Isn't Flash with custom ROM spoil the warantee?? Vibe ROM isnt a custom ROM, its a MIUI like ROM that is made by Lenovo. warranty void condition is that the ROM is rooted.

QUOTE(deejay220989 @ Jan 26 2014, 05:38 PM) Looks like VIBE v7 is coming..and how has VIBE improved since v1? I might be flashing my K900 with VIBE v7 once is it rooted plan to flash with Vibe V7 once its rooted too. now using Vibe V6 Beta 2. anyway, i searched on Gizchina that a rumored Lenovo set codenamed K7T is said to be a successor for K900, with the same chassis, size, snapdragon 800, adreno 330 GPU, 3GB RAM, 2K display and a possible 4G LTE support.

QUOTE(ricky lai @ Jan 28 2014, 03:46 PM) i got a question why my k900 will restart on its own sometime??? depends on the ROM you used. IINM, the 131227 ROM will always restart on its own.

I'm just normal user...sms, whatsapp, fb, u tube... should i buy? i assumed my K900 can last 18 hours with extreme wechatting and web browsing, no videos. tested this on Vibe ROM V4 by Qubex. oh ya, do check my posts regarding the battery performance.

QUOTE(Rudd @ Feb 17 2014, 09:48 PM) congratulation. have anyone updated? according to supersayan1000 (member of XDA Dev), android 4.3 is still at beta stage and he is one of the lucky members to get selected for the test. Lenovo isnt going to leak the beta ROM to anyone other than its selected beta testers, so no luck for getting it. This post has been edited by raymondtong94: Feb 18 2014, 02:29 AM
