Hello sifu, i am a newbie to ICE. Not sure whether I ask in the correct section or not.
I would like to have some recommendation on this topic. Following are the details:

My ride: Proton Gen2 CPS
- Prefers SQ/SPL/SQL: SQ
- File format/medium used for my source: MP3 / USB / Bluetooth
- Music genre: No preference
- Budget: Around RM1000 (possible ga?)
- Setup type preferences: Not really sure.. up to your recommendation
- Other requirements (if any): Would like to have a new HU to replace stock HU that comes with a good quality of reverse camera, touch screen (possible?), basic beginner speaker will do (not really into speaker,subwoofer,etc)

Any recommendation from sifus here will be deeply appreciated.

SPL possible but SQ or SQL not possible.If you buy used parts you need at least RM1.5k to 2K but you can always do one at a time.

What you need:
1)Sound proofing
2)Good HU
3)Amp,wirings like power cable and rca
4)Front speaker set and rear sub.

Any good HU unit + reverse camera + touchscreen(maybe) for gen2?

Try to get a branded HU, rather than OEM players such as this (http://www.mudah.my/Persona+Gen2+Oem+Double+Din+Monitor+USB-22009771.htm) that I installed, while feature packed and cheaper of cos, does not have a good sound quality unless you can get a mid to high end amp to go with it.

branded HU like alpine,pioneer,kenwood?

any preference between those brand? i mean in term of quality/best for bucks/warranty maybe?

Check http://paultan.org/2013/01/21/pioneer-laun...-vw-polo-camry/ out for some pioneer models released this year. (Btw, this guy also selling it - https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/2500717). Cheapest is the lowest range PIONEER AVH-X1550DVD. Don't know whether include camera, and installation fee?

With you budget just upgrade your HU first. Then go for insulation (door+bonnet+boot) then only think of upgrading your speakers. If you really want, just add a tweeter with your HU. Finally amp and woofer if you want some serious bass.

I know earlier Gen2 are really noisy, how is the CPS? As quiet as a Persona or not?
