wow looks awesome. my only gripe is the NPC. they look dull. well i guess you can't have best of both worlds.

like Mass Effect world is artificial but they focused on the NPC characters, dialogues and personality.

rebirth focus on the world, space combat and exploration.

Wait for mods as x games community are very talented modderfor this game.

Well, i'm gonna bump this thread as more details have been released.

X rebirth i my prime game, have been waiting for this in 7 years. I have been complaining to Ego since X reunion especially on menus ... and suggest them alot. For instance, now during battle, we will some kind like RTS command. which is the quick way to command a battle fleet.

Just in case, anyone upgrading computer for this game? i am planning to buy a gaming laptop. Anyone had experience playing x series on gaming laptop?

I really wont recommend gaming laptop unless you have at least 6k for a decent laptop like Asus RoG G750, MSI GT70 or a higher end Alienware M15x.

Games like X Rebirth or Total War requires fairly beefy PC, so when it comes to laptops, you'll need something that is fairly high end, considering that laptop parts are underclocked desktop parts that can be 40% slower than comparable models.

If not, you have to deal with poor visuals, poor performance and poor heat management.

Well, i am traveling soon. I prefer gaming laptop. i am ready to throw my money lol

ayam busy too play much waaaa... online pew pew in bf4 lately..

As of now, the game is kinda unoptimize, but knowing EGOSOFT, id give them a couple more weeks for them to polish up all the bugs and etc. Its still lacking a lot compared to X3 Rebirth, feels more like an arcade

Better save the game often cause if your mission is bugged, then you will need to do a lot of traveling. No more jumping or SETA like previous X. I still prefer previous X's auto-pilot, auto-follow, auto-match speed, etc.. Space ship so advanced, its a joke without "auto".. Trading & campaign a hell lot of bugs.. and of course lag ...
But overall the feel of the game is a lot better than previous X-game..

Still waiting for bugz to be fixed...

The majority of reviews are overwhelmingly negative. Good thing I didn't buy it
