hi, just want to get opinion fr wp8 users.... i intend to buy lumia 720 but most shops say wp8 got lots of problems, and recommend samsung galaxy series instead, on android ofcos. do u guys face any issues? i can't really find any physical units to view/hold cos all shops/kiosk display samsung phones! i m fr seberang perai, penang. pls enlighten me. thanks.

Microsoft WP8 RTM -> GDR1(aka Portico) -> GDR2 -> GDR3 -> WP8.1

Nokia PR1.0 -> PR1.1(came with portico) -> PR1.1.5 -> PR2.0(Amber (came with GDR2)) -> PR??(Bittersweet Shimmer(should be with GDR3))

other manufacturers have their own firmware.

I'm having some prob with my whatsapp and facebook notifications. They don't show at all. At least facebook shows the number of messages / post i have in the live tile, but notifications. Whatsapp doesn't show anything at all on the life tile.

I have to open the app, and then only all the messages come in.
Already tried reinstalling the app, and disable-reenable to background tasks. Still the same.

Upgraded to Lumia Black with no problem..

I can see that Sony will be another option for WP but for me la personally, i'd just stick with Nokia.
Nokia and WP8 combo is perfect for me, camera is good and phone is indestructible
Hopefully Sony can give some water proof options though. That would be nice.

I use it to display all my games in the folders on the home screen.
