You guys got it wrong about Microsoft dropping FB integration for WP8.1.
It IS dropped as an OS LEVEL FEATURE. Because when it is on that level, upgrading and fixing it takes more effort and certification. What IS happening (from what I can tell from the docs) is that the People Hub's FEED can now be updated by apps as well, previously apps can only add contacts to your People Hub, you can see this when you have Skype installed and your Skype contacts show up in the People Hub. This will allow better and quicker updates to fix any problems than before. It'll also open up the People Hub to be extended by other apps say.. *cough* G+ *cough* |
