No it really isn't.
We've always needed to push the power button (or double tap in our case) to wake the phone. No changes here.

The glance screen has always been just a screen to show us the time (and notifications in the future). Nokia is just giving us the choice to make it look better. You can always choose to turn it off.

If something as simple as this is confusing you, I think it's better to just turn it off. The point is we have the choice.

I faced one situation where I had to make a U-turn and then turn left, but here drive just told me to turn left doh.gif
And it sometimes tells me to change lanes to exit the highway a bit late.

But otherwise it works okay.

Glance screen does not turn off when charging.
Glance does not support notifications right now. It will come in the next WP8 update.

The fb app is utterly useless.

Thankfully I don't fb much these days.
