It's not about hardware, it's about games. The XBOX360 just doesn't have anything that can interest the Japs (or me, for that matter) currently. Until then, the situation won't change. And by the time there's some Japanese games out for the XBOX360, maybe it's too little too late...They need to get some quality JRPG to the japanese market by end of this year to counter the PS3 or it's all lost for the 360 there.
btw, what's the difference between a DS lite and normal DS?? Might pick up one myself as well...hee-hee.
