i just got back from bali
2nd dive at crystal bay, just back roll, i looked down underwater, saw 2 mola2 at their cleaning station
dived to 25 m, stayed there for 40 mins watching both mola2, cant ask for more

bty if you have your own gloves and wetsuits, bring them coz current can be strong so you need to hold onto sth
and the water can be really cold, last year my friends saw mola2 but temp at 16
i was luckier, temp at 23 but still cold, i wore 3mm wetsuit + 2 Long Sleeve Shirt, stil cold
my guide wore 5 mm suit also say cold

yea, watched mola2 at 25m, it all depends on luck, some ppl need to wait at 30 m or more then their guides go and search for the mola2
bottom can reach up to 60 m
only can find mola2 at crystal bay

manta ray chances are higher, got 2 manta point at nusa penida, ask ur guide to bring you to the new manta point as the mantas there are bigger in size

divers will stay around 30 m
then the guides will search for you

First of all, they shouldnt let you hold the corals. Its not the right thing to do

Secondly, sorry to hear you have epilepsy. Sorry to say you will not be able to learn scuba diving as should you dive halfway and the epilepsy strikes, you will have problems with your breathing. Thus no doctors will sign off the liability form allowing you to take scuba diving. Sorry to be so straight forward.

Tenggol Island basically got 3 resorts

1. Tenggol Coral Beach Resort / http://www.tenggolisland.com/
- the most expensive of all if no promo coz all are wooden chalets, need to check on the price again to reconfirm
- never dived with them due to previous owner dont properly maintain the place
- this year new resort operator came but the dive center SIC changed 2 times already tis year, not sure got any proper SIC running now or not

2. Tenggol Island Beach Resort / http://www.pulautenggol.com/
- located in the middle
- rooms are new, got fan (common bathroom) and quad aircond sharing room (attached bathrooms)
- food is great

3. cant remember the last resort name located on the other end
- used to go to this resort regularly but dont go anymore as the place was not properly maintained
- recently owner informed they will sort of "take over" the municipal rooms on the island and start selling next year
- food is so so
- dive center owner charges everything, even you borow the mask + snorkel for 5 mins also need to pay
- but the guides, ashrul is really good if you like nudi's, he can point to you nudi babies to snap using his sharp eagle eye

they are also dive operators, not many, i think 2-3 which operates from dungun and do day trips to tenggol island, you need to stay on mainland

there is 4 new wrecks in front of the bay

1st wreck, not been there yet, but should not be tat deep

2nd wreck, a vietnamese shipping boat, they dropped it too far, i went there at 5 pm low tide, sandy bottom at the middle of the wreck already 28 m

3rd & 4th wreck, the buoy keep on missing so ppl don go there
