No pool at Perhentian island, so all confine water do at sea with wave,... really killing when starting time.

First day, all theory.
2nd day, Morning Confine water 1&2 & Float 10 mins, Noon Open water 1, Evening theory
3nd day, Morning Confine water 3 & Snookering 300m, Noon Confine water 4&5 & Open water 2, Evening Theory & Exam
4th day, Morning Open water 3 and noon open water 4.

The schedule really killing

Wow, looks like really tiring for a crashing course in the island. I did my confine in KL before heading up to Tioman to do my certification dives + fun dive.

Well, the schedule will be relaxing a bit if finish all the theory sessions before heading for open water dives, and the good news is that you could spend more time on the island after diving. biggrin.gif

Wow, just have fun and enjoy at the same time. I did my Open Water Dives for OWD course in Tioman3 weeks back and it was so awesome but poor visibility during that time but we still manage to saw the underwater world. biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

that's the beauty... even with 1/2 meters vis, you still can spot many interesting stuff...  whistling.gif

Yeah, I also saw a sea turtle swim by my both side and in front during that time. The best moment ever..... biggrin.gif

Do whatever feel good for you. I would say yes.

Hmm, actually I'm planning to take my Advance Open Water course for the following 2 years because I'm plan to do more dives and makes myself comfortable before progressing myself. Is it kind of rush to have AOW after completed OW straight away?

There was quite some discussion on this topic in the previous thread. Around end July like that. Maybe you can refer back to V2 and read some of the others comments.

Generally, if you feel comfortable with it, then go ahead. Also if you think you will continue to dive, then by all means, go get it. I know many who take OW then after that no interest to dive already.
*
Wow, but for me i will not be like that as I'm so addicted to diving since I did my DSD. smile.gif
But I need to start to save up my budget to plan my next diving trips. biggrin.gif

Wow, looks like I have to plan for my next year schedule as my final year studies gonna be hectic, and I can't wait to dive again, especially with a bunch of scuba diving enthusiastic people from here. biggrin.gif

I've never been to perhentian before, but I've heard from my instructor that the island is a gateway for diving. biggrin.gif

I went to Tioman and dive with Marine Monkees for my OWD, nice peoples and staffs, and they really are helpful for arranging our accommodations and dive schedules. Enjoy your dives and vacation. biggrin.gif
