You wouldn't wanna lost your head when you ascending. It's safer to launch it at depth when you are lost.

You mitigate one type of risk while introducing another. Even experienced folks fumble with their DSMB deployments... what more for me, a noob who can't maintain a solid safety stop So I'll stick to surface deployments first.

There are other things I can be mindful for now, like listen for boat motor, looking up and around, ascending in a vertical column to ensure my bubbles are above me, etc. Feel free to fill in pearls of wisdom.

I should dive more first before take the AOW or just can directly take AOW?

Hmm, alot of yoyo-ing.. between the 5m - 6m area.. i kept sinking.
my instructor literally gave me the "you better get your @rse up here look" - hope he's not active around here.

Does pool dive includes equipment rental? I only have mask at the moment. Need to test the mask.

from my diving instructor he said, must dive with a buddy just beside you... habis if one gostan one going forward.... LOL
