Just got my OW license ~ 3 weeks ago.
Sensei-s, where would be a good "training ground" for newbies like me ?
My buoyancy control is quite bad and i am quite a slow learner

Sorry for the vague question. Was actually wondering if there are any specific places that are "easier?(or it's more or less the same as long as it's for OW)".
Or known as "newbie's training ground"(if there's such thing). In Malaysia perhaps. Tioman, Redang, Perhentian I suppose? or..?

Never tried pool dive. I did the 4D3N course @ Tioman itself.
The only thing that was sort of helping with the buoyancy control are the urchins. But not helping with the air consumption.

Dive was awesome! but visibility wasn't too good... sadly. Nevertheless it was fun.
Looking forward to more dives. 

You mean you are planning to buy this for your upcoming OW course?
Forget about the wetsuit and fins. If you wanna get any equipment, get the booties and the mask. The rest all rent first. When you sure you wanna invest more into this hobby, then only you save up and get a good pair of fins. Wetsuit can get any normal wetsuit.

I did my OW in Phuket, Kiwidivers, end of July 2013. My friends were there for Free diving course.
So, not knowing what to do when they are busy at it, so i planned myself for the OW course.
And I have no regret doing this 

Basically, I'm pursuing AOW coz wanna go Sipadan.

I just completed the Padi OW license from Flora Bay Divers at Perhentian Island.

I should dive more first before take the AOW or just can directly take AOW?

Planning to take my advance soon, but i'm stuck with where to go for my advanced 

icicic, but logically speaking, if one with 200/300 dives also not recognised .. then really nothing to say, if that's the case i agree with ya
