Share my experience.
Incident happen 07.20pm. (FLX CVT 2012)

I just start up my car. Cannot start up the engine, got engine sparking sound but just cannot start up. Even hold the ignition for 20 sec also cannot.

After that i found out that, the alarm light is blinking at the button beside the hazard light. Then i close the engine, lock the car and unlock the car.

Lastly everything goes normal again.

if you got the budget, can straight away go for meguiar's, ease of use and got option to buy in gallons.

else, cheaper alternatives would be duragloss/osren/turtlewax

Did we really need a polishing machine to help ? Or without it will be need more time to do it?

atm im not using polishing machine also. good ones need minimum 700-1k or so so haven't got around in buying one.

but yea, just need more energy/time to do by hand, however no problem in getting the job done although don't expect the results to be as good as machines (more even)
*
Wohkay, I need to survey the machine price. Cause imma lazy send out to car wash shop to let them do it.
Most of the time i left my car there and balik rumahhh tidur. Then when taking the car saw many unwanted stuff stick at plastic bar and cannot be removed anymore mad.gif

sleep.gif Later u buy also lazy to use one because one year got how many times u will use it?
hmm.gif What is the plastic bar?
*
QUOTE(Quazacolt @ Aug 23 2013, 01:01 PM)
no need to survey. good machines cost as what i mentioned, the lower end ones, you're probably better off saving and go by hand (and learn while you're at it)

if you're actually interested in detailing then can consider investing in a good machine.

The plastic bar I mention....

And this......

FYI i buy the machine not just polishing my car, I can polish other car in my house. laugh.gif

use clay bars/ipa for those plastic trims

and you can have 20 cars at home, but if you lazy to use the machine anyways, it doesn't matter.
*
Okay thanks for the information. I try one set of the detailing product and try using my own hand to do it see smile.gif
